Help Military and Veteran Families:
There are veteran and military caregivers in your community who need a short break from caring for a loved one.
The Legacy Corps program is seeking volunteers to provide respite to these hard-working individuals by offering friendly visits to elderly or disabled family members.
Serve your community, and become a hero to the heroes who have already served, all while earning money for your education.

Volunteering for Legacy Corps Program has been one of the greatest experiences in my life. I started this program when I was in community college in 2015. Now I've been in the program for four years. One of the things that I love about this program is that we are serving back to Veterans and their families.

I live alone. I am 92 years old and still alive; because of the two caregivers from Legacy Corps. And hoping, since both have graduated that I get a new volunteer as wonderful as Jamallah and Carol.
Thank you Legacy Corps.
~Miriam Hyman, Legacy Corps Care Recipient
This is a most supportive program for both the volunteer and the recipient. I was a volunteer and I received massive amounts of help from the program coordinators, Dalija and Brian. For the recipient, Legacy Corps volunteers provide support in a variety of ways to individuals who may or may not have someone in their life. Legacy Corps provides much needed relief for family caregivers too. I have made life long friends with other volunteers and the families I've worked with.
